Television and its effects on Children
Thesis Statement: The influences of television can be both positive and negative for children; in the United States the average child spends twenty-eight hours per week watching television. The content of the shows that children watch daily alters their behavior as well as their view point and ultimately it dictates the manner in which they communicate with others.

Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that can be monochromatic (shades of grey) or multicolored. Television does have many programs that can make people especially children to just sit in front of television. But television has bad influence to children.

Today I will convince all of you that television does have negative influence on children which are wasting time, give negative impact on minds and attention deficit disorders among children. Transition to body of speech

Let’s begin by watching television can waste children’s valuable time.
